RAGAZZI is an ongoing portrait series by MC Lupo.
A growing collection of characters, each distinct in appearance, personality and attitude. They don't belong together because they're the same.
They belong together because they're different.
The RAGAZZI aren't polite portraits
They aren't likenesses. They're not designed to capture a person exactly as they are.
They're fragments. Cut, arranged, discarded and rebuilt until something begins to emerge.
Not quite a person.
Not quite a symbol.
Something in between.
The Work Behind the Work
Each RAGAZZI begins without a finished identity.
Fragments are cut, arranged, discarded and rebuilt. Shapes tighten. Colours settle. Something begins to emerge.
I don't start with a person and try to capture them.
I start with fragments and see who appears.
The finished work sits somewhere between observation and imagination. Designed, but never completely controlled.
The Speed Demon
LIMITED EDITION FINE ART PRINT
Lewis doesn’t like standing still.
He moves faster than the speed of doubt.
His approach is pure instinct.
No shortcuts. No hesitation.
Speed isn't his style. It's his language.
Catch him if you can.
About the character
Lewis is part of the RAGAZZI — a growing cast of handcrafted personalities created by Melbourne artist MC Lupo. Each Ragazzo represents a different attitude toward life: rebels, dreamers, provocateurs, romantics and wanderers. Together they form a modern tribe of outsiders. Never standing still. Always evolving. Anything but ordinary.

He just behaves
as if they don't apply.
Strangely,
people tend to follow.

Uncut.

Some people think.
Ece moves.
A room.
A street.
A moment.
She finds the rhythm
before anyone else hears it.
Movement is her language.

Stillness is power.
She doesn't react.
She doesn't negotiate.
She holds her position — composed, deliberate, unmoved.
Less explanation. More presence.
Question is, did she light that fire?
Who is Elena?
The Observer.
She notices more than she lets on.
Never rushed, rarely surprised. Elena has a way of standing apart without ever seeming distant.
You might think she's watching you.
She probably is.
